Grand Alliance is a menswear brand rooted in football casual culture, with a sharp nod to British militaria. The brief was clear: take something with weight and history, and translate it into something a man actually wants to wear today. Every decision, from identity to product, was made with the end customer at the centre. The result is a brand with genuine cultural reference points, built to feel instinctive to buy into.

Creative Communication for Casual Clothing
We created a clean, recognisable identity system that works across everything from garments to digital. The typography does most of the heavy lifting, supported by established symbols like the redcoat soldier and Tudor rose. We extended this into a coat of arms and repeat patterns to give the brand more depth without overcomplicating it. The colour palette stays firmly British, keeping everything consistent and easy to spot.

Recognisable at a Glance
The garments focus on strong, straightforward graphics. We worked with emblematic icons, patches and simple compositions that nod to military references without going too literal. It’s about getting the balance right, pieces that stand out but still feel wearable day to day.

Moving the Brand
We developed social content for campaign drops including the Dogtooth collection, editing short-form reels and static assets built to capture attention and drive engagement, supporting the wider campaign rollout across platforms.

Where Brand Meets Basket
Where Brand Meets Basket
We designed and built a full Shopify ecommerce site with a clear focus on selling and conversion. The layout keeps things simple, strong visuals, clear navigation, no guesswork. The brand identity runs through the whole experience, with a loyalty and referral scheme tailored to an already engaged customer base within football casual culture. It looks good, but more importantly, it converts.

Mind Pattern handled everything from brand identity through to ecommerce and campaign content, and the whole thing just made sense from start to finish. They understood exactly what Grand Alliance needed, especially with the football casual angle, and built something that feels authentic, premium, and still current. They got the balance right between heritage and a more modern edge without overdoing it. As for the site, not only does it looks great, it’s built to bring in business.
